Forgotten Silver (1995) is a New Zealand film mockumentary. It was written & directed by Costa Botes and Peter Jackson (of The Lord of the Rings fame), both of whom star in the film when documental makers.
It purported to tell a story of 'forgotten' Just released Zeal& film producer Colin McKenzie, his misused films and his technical accomplishment that predated accepted history by up to Twenty years — in fact, McKenzieOccurs as fictional character. A film featured 'recovered' archival footage around each black & white & colour, & by owning healthy (purportedly from either 1908). McKenzie's footage (when computer sweetening) as well provided clear grounds to believe that Up to date Zealander Richard Pearse was a number 1 human to invent the powered aircraft, months anterior to the Wright Brothers succeeding.
Costa Botes directed a 'documental' portions when Peter Jackson created the 'achival footage' intended to keep around been filmed by McKenzie.
